Dr Nappi’s major interests are in the field of psych neuroendocrinology of female reproductive and post-reproductive life with a special focus on women’s sexual health. She has published around 450 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and international books with around 2700 citations (HF Google Scholar 89). She is a well-known speaker on women’s health from adolescence to menopause. She has been very active in many international meetings and research projects in the field of contraception, menopause and female sexual dysfunction. She is past president of the International Society for the Study of Women Sexual Health (ISSWSH).
